About Veritasium
Veritasium is a science and engineering brand dedicated to exploring the world through curiosity, evidence, and discovery.
Founded by Derek Muller, Veritasium has grown into one of the world’s largest science YouTube channels, with over 20 million subscribers and hundreds of millions of views every year. Through videos, products, and experiments, our mission is simple: to help people better understand the world around them.
Everything we make comes back to one idea: Science is better when you share it with others.
That philosophy has shaped everything we’ve created, from our videos to Snatoms, our hands-on molecular modelling kit, and now Elements of Truth - our first tabletop game.
About Elements Of Truth
Elements of Truth is a tabletop trivia game combining questions from across the fields of Science with a mechanic which tests player’s confidence.
Every question challenges you to do more than recall facts. You’ll need to judge how certain you are in your answer, weigh the evidence, and decide how much you’re willing to back yourself. In many ways, it mirrors the process of science itself: making predictions, testing ideas, and learning from being wrong.
The game was developed by the Veritasium team alongside educators, researchers, game designers, and members of our community. Throughout development, thousands of players helped test, refine, and improve the experience.
When we launched Elements of Truth on Kickstarter, over 13,000 backers joined us to help bring the game to life and shape its final form.
The Tabletop Game by Veritasium
The game we've worked on for over a year is nearly here.
It's been developed and tested by experts, our team, and members of the Veritasium community. and is designed to help you understand how confident you are in what you know. Each question asks you to think like a scientist: weigh the evidence, assess your confidence in your reasoning, and test what you know.
After launching this on Kickstarter to give the entire Veritasium community an opportunity to shape the final product, over 10,000 of you backed the project and shared your feedback.
Now this is your game too.
